What is Y2K Fashion ?
Y2K Fashion is when the early 2000’s apparel was in it’s prime ! The apparel was based of technology and also the apparel was made to be dark, reflective, and technological .
But Y2K also means ” a reappearance of Y2K Fashion” , and it is also a abbreviation for the year of 2000, is a zeitgeist of the late 90’s and it’s early 2000’s with the peak of it being in 1993 to 2003 .
Even though the “Y2K Fashion” was described as dark and brooding, celebrities/others ended up changing the wear to more mutual colors and adding more of the “glitz & glam” wear slowly !
Over the years of this fashion trend, PlayBoy yes PlayBoy added their own spice to it !
Y2K Fashion Now
Over the years this look has evolved and now in 2019 females/males have started to bring the look back making it a trend again ! Also creating a aesthetic with it too !
